I absolutely love my visits to this charming little corner of Calgary. As a local, here are my favourite haunts in Inglewood, plotted into a gorgeous day trip to do by yourself OR with visitors!
Here is where you'll find me on a sunny weekend afternoon.
Meet up at The Next Page bookstore, grab a latte and prowl the downstairs. Has a great secondhand section downstairs too, be sure to check it out
Vintage clothing & records shop hop! Hello Vintage, Change is Good & Imagine Vintage are my favourite spots. It's so fun trying on odd things, especially picking things out with friends. Recordland is right there, and a new spot opened up I haven't checked out properly yet called 'That Old Retro Store.'
Fuel up at a cafe like Lina's italian food court, Norley's colombian street food, or the Calgarian beloved classic Spolumbo's.
Take a digestive stroll around the cute neighbourhood houses, admiring the gardens or walk to the Bow River for some riverside views
Last stop options
A beer at one of the excellent breweries nearby. My favourite taproom in Inglewood is at Ol' Beautiful, with nice room and classic beers, an in-house mexican food joint and chiller vibes than it's rowdy and also fun neighbour, Cold Garden.
A bubble tea at Oolong or Ami Tea, super underrated in my opinion
A pineapple whip or milkshakes at the Inglewood Drive In! It's hard to walk by it and not go in for a treat.
Night time? Business & Pleasure is a hidden bar that I have only heard stellar things about.
There is always somewhere cozy to hang out at, a new shop or restaurant to explore!
